Now that schools back in, I miss the patriotic Olympic decorations everywhere. Although now I do see Canada flags more often, which makes my heart sing.
This is the paint color I picked thinking ‘it’s more neutral, it will make the house more marketable when we sell it.
BLECH! Wtf was I thinking? It’s ‘Parchment’ by CIL and while it is really nice on the sample, with the carpet and the lighting it is not nice in this room. It looks greeny.
I feel a little guilty not liking the color because Sparky and our friend painted all weekend last weekend while I was at the Bad Wives Club. So I’m repainting myself this weekend.
This is what I am going to get today, they are Behr colors, on the left is Misty Surf, which will be 3 walls, and on the right is Prelude, which will be the closet wall.
When will Tom get his movie? I bet Lance Bass is free to co-star.

This has been my wallpaper since I took this picture. It’s my favorite local musician, Daniel Wesley, playing at what is now Rock Sugar in Langley, but back in ‘my day’ it was China Beach. Sparky and I, and our friends, have many fuzzy memories there.
What will be the family room. Where the tv is now use to be a big wall/closet separating the family room from my office. This will look much better over the next few weeks. My new office wall is behind where the couch is. (The couch is so going. Yuck.)
